1. Our Service
VitalYOU operates a technology platform connecting users with independent AHPRA-registered medical practitioners for private consultations and prescription fulfilment through licensed Australian pharmacies. VitalYOU is not a medical practice or pharmacy; it provides technology, coordination, and administrative services. All clinical care is provided by independent Practitioners; the doctor-patient relationship is with them. All medicines are supplied by independent licensed Australian pharmacies. VitalYOU does not advertise or sell prescription medicines; access is based on clinical judgment after consultation.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By booking or paying through the Platform, you are bound by these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and all referenced policies.
3. Definitions
Consultation Fee means the Practitioner's professional fee plus VitalYOU's platform and administrative fee. Medicine Cost means the price set by the dispensing pharmacy.
4. Eligibility
You must be aged 18 or over and physically located in Australia at the time of your telehealth consultation.
5. Payments
All pricing is in AUD and includes GST. VitalYOU collects payments as a limited authorised collection agent. Payments are processed by third-party processors; we do not store full credit card details. You authorise us to charge for Consultation Fees and medicine costs.
6. Bookings, Cancellations, and Refunds
All appointments are booked and paid through the Platform. You must provide at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged the full Consultation Fee, which is non-refundable. If a Practitioner cancels, you will receive a full refund or the option to rebook at no cost. Medicines cannot be refunded once dispensed. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law are unaffected.
7. Pathology Tests
Your initial Consultation Fee includes baseline pathology tests. Further tests may be coordinated through the Platform.
8. Fulfilment and Delivery
Consultations are delivered via telehealth. Medicines are dispensed by independent licensed pharmacies.
9. Invoices and Receipts
You will receive a receipt from VitalYOU for all payments. Tax invoices are issued on behalf of the relevant supplier.
10. Your Responsibilities
You must provide accurate health and medical history information. You agree to use the Platform lawfully. The service is not a substitute for emergency care; call 000 for emergencies.
11. Limitation of Liability
VitalYOU is not liable for clinical services provided by Practitioners, products supplied by pharmacies, or services provided by pathology laboratories. Our liability is limited to the operation of the Platform.
12. Privacy and Data Security
We handle your information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Australian Privacy Principles. You consent to sharing your information with Practitioners, pharmacies, and pathology labs as necessary for your care.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version current at the time of your booking will apply.
14. Dispute Resolution
Please contact support@vitalyou.com.au first for informal resolution of any disputes.
