What’s included in the $1,295?
+An 82-biomarker blood panel covering six biological systems, your biological age, a 40-minute consultation with an AHPRA-registered doctor, and a clinical plan shaped by your biology.
What happens after I book?
+You’ll receive a pathology referral for a fasting blood draw at a local collection centre. Results are typically back within three business days. Your doctor reviews everything before your consultation.
What happens after my consultation?
+Your report is delivered the day after your consultation. If your doctor has prescribed compounded therapeutics, these are prepared by our partner pharmacy and typically take ten business days.
Are there any additional costs after the assessment?
+The $1,295 covers your blood panel, consultation, and report. Any medications or supplements your doctor recommends are additional. Most patients spend between $100 and $500 per month on their ongoing plan. Follow-up consultations are charged separately: $160 for 15 minutes, $250 for 30 minutes. Your doctor sets the follow-up schedule based on your results.
Is the consultation telehealth or in person?
+Both. Telehealth is available Australia-wide. In-person consultations are available in Byron Bay.
Do I need to fast before the blood draw?
+Yes. A fasting blood draw is required.
Can I claim this on Medicare or private health insurance?
+No. VitalYOU’s assessment is a private service and is not covered by Medicare or private health insurance.
What’s your cancellation policy?
+You can cancel or reschedule with at least 48 hours’ notice. If your blood draw hasn’t been completed, you’ll receive a full refund. If your blood work has already been processed, the assessment fee is non-refundable as pathology costs have been incurred. Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice are non-refundable.
Does VitalYOU replace my GP?
+No. Your GP manages disease, acute care, and general health. VitalYOU investigates the biological systems that drive how you feel day to day. The two work alongside each other.
I’m already spending money on supplements. Will this tell me what’s actually working?
+Your blood panel measures the biomarkers that most supplements claim to support. Your doctor can see what’s low, what’s already covered, and what you’re taking that isn’t doing anything. Instead of guessing, your supplement plan is built from your actual results.
